Not hearing that for 6 months out of the year is the primary reason I hate winter.

+1 -1 I want to celebrate in Wrigleyville tonight, plus half the Cubs fans out there won't be able to see them clinch if its on FOX with the blackouts Today is not on WGN and is in the middle of a work day, so I would think even less will be able to watch the game today. Plus, I would like to see the Cubs clinch on the field. Not sitting at home waiting to see what the Brewers do. I want to see the Cubs clinch with a win and not with a Brewers loss.

If you look directly at Geovany Soto, you may go blind. The human eye is not equipped to view so much awesomeness. I suggest one of those pinhole boxes that are used to view eclipses.

I can't imagine a Cubs broadcast without Pat and Ron. I hate the days when Dave Otto fills in... he's terrible. And while Corey Provis is at least passable, he's no Pat Hughes. The 5th innings of Cubs broadcasts are my least favorite when I'm listening on the radio.

Yeah, seems like no postseason in Milwaukee this year. If they're gonna tank, I hope Philly wins the East so we play the Mets in the first round.

I listened to the bottom of the 11th in my car. My heart jumped when Soto hit the ball, but dropped when Cameron caught it. Sounds like he hit it hard, too. So what did Edmonds get ejected for? I know it was arguing balls and strikes, but did it come out what he said to get tossed?

At this point, I'm almost not worried about them making the playoffs; I just want them to get it done and out of the way. You're only "almost" not worried? You really think there's a chance they miss the playoffs? Well, mathematically there IS a chance.... much like there is a chance of me winning the lottery and being proposed to by Angelina Jolie on the same day.
