  1. This thread will be resurrected until it is made fully aware of how awful Rusch has been the last month +. He has become worse than Remlinger as an effective reliever. When will people start to turn on him? He definately needs some readjustments. Perhaps he will fill Wood's spot in the rotation, and redeem himself.
  2. That is the wrong argument to use. Everyone knows that wins don't mean much of anything. However it is a alarming stat that he's been in the league for 6 seasons w/ 70 wins. Proves he is on the D/L a lot
  3. Background on the league: Hitters only league. 4 IF 4 OF 1 C Must have at least 2 AB's for stats to count, or goes to bench player Scoring: 1 pt: single, run, rbi, sb 2pt - Double 3 Pt - Triple 4 pt - Home Run I got: Tejada, Teixeira, Sheffield, Bay, and Chad Tracy He got: Pujols, Daryle Ward, Edmonds, Kevin Mench, Bill Hall What do you guys think?
  4. I don't know if the common fan pays that much attention? He still has a respectable era, and based on his early heroic perfomances I bet he slides under the radar for quite a while.
  5. Hiting a homerun in the derby is significantly different than in a real game. I know from experience.... oh wait no I don't. Trust me they are different.
  6. Thanks for illustrating my point. As you can see not effective.
  7. Obviously Burnitz has performed admirably so far this year. I was very opposed to his signing, not so much b/c i was a Sosa fan, I thought he would suck. He has shown hustle and is a good player, and I am glad he is on the team. However, I don't know if I'd consider the transacation a complete success since he costs in reality like 20 million. We could have done a lot worse.
  8. After looking at the box score, and nothing else, I see that Glendon gave up 2 more runs today. I pose this question again. Do you you think he is done for us as an effective starter/reliever? He has given up at least 1 ER in his last 9 appearances. What do you all think?
  9. Ever since his move to the bullpen, I believe he has given up a run each time out there. Do you think this is Glendon reverting back to old crappy Glendon? He was stellar as a starter for most of the season, but in the bullpen he has been very unreliable.
  10. Only thing I'd change about this thread, is the date :)
