If bad baserunning got Borbon the DFA then Sveum's gritty friend should be gone tomorrow as well. I think he was also picked off second to end an inning earlier this year.

Relax - what are you going to do in a few years when it actually matters.

All this started because the home plate ump sucks at his job. Since we have pitch trax at just about every game why can't that just be used for ball/strikes and take home plate umpire judgement out of the equation? I realize it is not perfect but at least it would be consistent.
