  1. It seems like everyone is wide open in this Ravens/Chiefs game.
  2. Yep. That one made no sense at the time. I was so pissed when they made that trade.
  3. Hush your mouth.
  4. Great start to the season for Arsenal.
  5. I feel sorry for season ticket holders. Suckers. They just emailed me saying that my number will be coming up this year. I responded that if they won't spend on the team, I won't either.
  6. They have a good shot to get to 5th, they have a lot of head to head matchups. If they can manage to get swept in those series, that would really help the cause.
  7. For the love of God, someone please, Photoshop Jake driving a tank.
  8. Literally exactly the same for me. I have a Rizzo away jersey and a Javy alternate. Thinking I might get a Hendricks home one to finish the set sometime. I have a Rizzo fourth of July home jersey and an alternate blue Baez.
  9. What OL are still out there available? Looks like the whole line is hurt right now.
  10. I have Rizzo and Baez Cubs jerseys. The only two players I've bought jerseys for.
  11. Hook it directly to my veins. I'm all in. Not nervous at all.
  12. It’s called a dropped third strike Then still him saying, "you do that a lot in baseball" means he chose the right sport because apparently he struck out a bunch. Also, side note.... dropped 3rd strikes in little league destroys me. My son's team once struck out 20 kids in a 6 inning game this past season and they actually turned 4 outs in the field that game. They had two 5-strikeout innings that they pitched. A pitcher on my team in high school struck out 27 guys. They didn't put a ball in play, but our catcher had enough passed balls to score runs and make us go to extra innings.
  13. What injury does Hermosillo have? I assume he will be up when he's healthy?
  14. This makes me more sad. I miss Javy even though he strikes out all of the time. My favorite player to watch.
  15. Too bad Arizona got out to a huge lead, otherwise this new Cubs team could give them a run for their money.
  16. Unless I'm missing something, Kilian isn't in the Giants top 50 on Fangraphs. He does have good numbers... Nightengale spelled both names wrong, LMAO.
  17. Yeah, but you like every prospect. Really? I do? Okay. Again, Schwarber's INJURED. He's also a rental and heading to FA. Are you thinking they should've gotten a top 50 prospect for him? Ramirez is also injured and would barely be in the Cubs top 30 if they traded for him. Schwarber has been a better hitter than Rizzo and Bryant this year and that's all they got for him. Ramirez has good numbers this year, and it could still work out for them, but comparing it to the Cubs haul for Rizzo, it's not close. I guess there is the risk that Schwarber doesn't come back this year, would have been interesting to see what they would have gotten if he were healthy. Mostly, I was just trying to get your hot take.
  18. Eh. Aldo Ramirez is a nice young arm who has hit A+. May not have the highest ceiling in the world, but there's velocity and solid secondary pitches. It looks like he's improved this year with his secondary consistency. He just turned 20 is having a strong season in Salem. Could definitely see him get a justifiable bump up a level, and he could be in AA next year at some point. I think soxprospects analysis is correct - more end of the rotation possibility, with a chance that at his age and development, he might have a mid-rotation ceiling if all the dominoes fell correctly. Thing is, Schwarber's on a mutual option that he's likely to decline in an effort to get a long term deal. So, it's a rental, and for a guy who is hurt right now. The more I think about it, the more I think it's actually relatively solid. Yeah, but you like every prospect.
  19. The Nats got jack horsefeathers for Schwarber.
  20. Site crashed for the first 30-45 minutes when there would have been most of the comments. But yeah. Was it due to traffic?
  21. mexican leagues, i think. Yep. He had a solid season, for whatever that's worth.
  22. He tested positive for COVID-19.
  23. Well you can't have it both ways. If he's not really a top 3 pitcher, which, fine, that means his numbers aren't really dropping off, right? He's just settling back to what you thought he was/is, which is still valuable? Maybe we don't get a Preciado, but maybe a Darvish in the rotation means less time the offense spends watching some garbage pitcher get knocked around and then have to chase leads, or a bullpen that isn't exhausted by July. But, whatever, all in the past at this point. Can you guys please stop responding to this guy so I don't have to see the non-sense he's posting? He's still workshopping the script changes.
  24. Yeah, they were barely trying and lost by a point overall.
