How sweet would it be to have Wood give a stellar relief performance to put me over the top. :D Is it cool for me to want the Cubs to win and Wood to get shelled?
during the broadcast of that game, they said he had been slated to start Thursday I believe. So he may go back to starting. Checked the news and he won't be starting. Word from the manager was that he was never slated to start Thursday.
I got through the VWR somewhere around 45 minutes into the sale but could only get 2 tickets to game 1 of the NLCS. Other than the final score, can't say it was a bad experience. If memory serves correctly I had 2 windows open.
Need to do something about Jorge Sosa's points. Too bad I didn't pay enough attention to know he is now a reliever. Do I get to add a player to get a 7th start?
I went a few years ago. Beautiful park but I wasn't a fan of the seats at all. There wasn't a lot of room from seat to seat and even less room for your legs. Other than that I recall it as being a great place to see a game.
I'll stick to the moments I've seen in person: 1) Game 1 of the NLCS. It was the first game that my wife and I got to see at Wrigley. I have the game on video and still get chills when I watch the HR in the 9th. 2) Sammy's rehab assignment in West Tennessee. 3) The HR Derby in Atlanta.
