  1. They could've been booing Encarnacion. They booed him too, but they were on the 1st base ump for ringing him on a check with the barrel in front of his body.
  2. I have heard that the Cubs Convention ends up the same way in that there's a race to the clubhouse store and everything gets bought and posted on ebay. I haven't seen a lot on ebay, just some bricks and a jersey or two.
  3. Sorry Len, old Busch was always a hole
  4. It definitely won't be the last. :D
  5. $25 for an authenticated brick from Wrigley is absolutely amazing. To put things in perspective, MLB has the W flag from the opening day win against the Cards. It was pushing $600 the last time I checked.
  6. I'm enthusiastic that they're authenticated. It's good to see the effort on something so historic. Any way of knowing how many were sold?
  7. An MLB authentication sticker? Is it one of the stickers you look up on MLB.com?
  8. Thanks. I have to reiterate though that it's a site effort, I'm just the person that makes some contacts here and there. The site really has come a long way, and it's the efforts from a lot of folks that make it happen. Tim has done a great service to all of us by providing this site. 1908 and the Mods have done a tremendous job as well. And of course this site wouldn't be what it is without the talents and knowledge of all of the posters on the site. It's the credibility of the site that is making all of this happen. Hopefully we'll have some more news on this subject before long! Thanks again!
  9. Just finished the interview with Sean Gallagher. Hopefully I'll be able to get it typed and posted in the next few days. Sean is as great of a person off the field as he is on the field. Much appreciation to Sean for taking time for the session in addition to the great things he is doing in the organization!
  10. For a second I thought Bob said he was allergic to Slimer
  11. It's not like the Cubs are the only team that does it. You see it all the time. Moises Alou reference specifically
  12. You know you're slumping when the guy in the booth inadvertantly hits the music while you're batting
