  10. Good point. So by directly or indirectly punishing players who played in the steroid era he also is punishing all players who did not play in that era. Interesting.
  11. Link
  12. There's definitely something to be said about a site with the lead headline of Meet the Catman
  13. His defense of the blank ballot
  14. Ouch. I honestly thought that Cal had a chance at a unanimous vote, but knew the chance was slim. Unfortunately, the slim chance had nothing to do with what Cal did on the field. When you consider the longevity required to make it to the HOF you are going to meet lots of people. Intentionally or not, there's a great chance that someone is going to get their feelings hurt at some point and try to pay back a player when the HOF vote happens. In addition, you will have those seeking media attention. If this (or any) writer did keep from voting for Cal based on the "steroid era" it is a shame. I would also question if they know anything about Ripken. Cal still has a great work ethic to this day, one of the best I have seen. In addition, Cal had a pretty good career pre 1993 with a World Series, Rookie of the Year and 2 MVP awards among many other accomplishments.
  15. Sure, why not
  16. I caught that.
  17. nail meet coffin
  18. I love the late flag
  19. I'm surprised you're rooting for the Jets-even though I don't want to, I'm rooting for the Patriots to make it to the AFC title game-then if the Colts can join them, it will be Colts-Patriots in the Dome :D I don't care for either, but I'd root for the Jets over the Patriots. Doesn't really matter after this review.
  20. Lead back to 7, come on Jets
  21. Come on Jets [/bitter Colts fan]
  22. The postgame also included plenty of questions about the ball that was used for the kick.
  23. And for the record, I am including the game reaction. Yes it was a terrible play, but you have to keep your head up for the other guys on the team as much as possible.
  24. I didn't see him in the press conference. Was he in bad shape? Very bad shape. I only recall one statement that was remotely positive.
  25. Books you won't be seeing in the future: Dealing With Adversity, by Tony Romo
