First of all, the Podcast is the newest one on iTunes for ESPN Radio Daily... So if you have iTunes, enjoy. It's called "ESPN Radio Daily" if you dont subscribe to it. It hasnt been updated on ESPN's official podcast website yet...but likely soon will. http://espnradio.espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/index You will hear other sport news... Towards the middle, Terry Francona talks about the addition of Ortiz... Then Tim Kurkjian talks about the differences between Lee and Ortiz. Then he talks about Lee's progression & breakout throughout the years. Towards the end (around 24:25 into the podcast, 5:15 remaining), Ryan Dempstar comes on. Talks about Cardinal series. Says how he feels as the closer. Comments on Wood and Prior injuries. Defends Wood on being injury-prone. Talks about how many free dinners Derrek Lee's 65/5 million dollar contract is. Dempster remembers asking Lee that if he signed a big deal, Lee would buy Dempster a new car. If Lee didnt say it, Demp will trick him into believing he did. Hm... Trade? What teams would want Rusch... and what can we get? With the rotation getting healthy, great infield, Jacque waking up... Theres not many holes. I think trade for some good prospects would be good enough. Or should we take a chance with him in the bullpen? Whats his bullpen ERA?
