    What better game to protest on than the one on Fox? :lol: I would love to join it. I'm assuming it will be a peaceful protest? With licenses and whatnot? Although I would not mind a violent protest, since it would send a stronger message.

    Please explain why you think that the Cobs will score 5 runs against a pretty good pitcher, especially since they cant hit lefties if their lives depended on it. Team speed. With guys like Pierre and Hairston at the top of the order, we can score runs faster than you can blink an eye. GO CUBS! Please tell me you're joking... Plus the speed of Cedeno and Perez at the bottom of the lineup. Mark my words, small ball will win this game. GO CUBS! So, what happened to all those runs that great speed was going to score us? This team is a frick'n joke. Chicago Cubs! Whats the joke? Huh? Well, thats the punchline, whats the joke? The game isn't over yet, Captain Smartypants. This team, unlike the 2004 version, can manufacture runs at will because they do not have to rely on the long ball. I predict three runs in the eighth and four in the ninth via bunts, hit-and-runs, steals, and other such shenanigans. Oh yes... and that has gone really far this year. Especially since we're last in nearly offensive category for the NL. I wish we relied on the home run. At least we would score something.

I'll do it.

    I'd like to remind everyone that he's one of Dusty's boys... and we all know why. Let's all give a thanks to Darren Baker. Anyhow, if this goes down, we'll likely have many posts saying "WHY?!?! D.LEE IS FINE! THE OFFENSE NEEDS HIM!! WHY ARE YOU STARTING SNOW!?" It is a gamble...

    Walker Murton D. Lee C. Lee Ramirez Barret Pie Cedeno This could be the team next year. This would be a huge offensive improvement, while keeping the rotation in tact ... Zambrano Wood Prior Marshall Miller/Guzman/Hill/Williams. Get rid of Rusch, Blanco, Bynum, and Neifi (if possible). If one of those has to stay, fine. ONE of those. Likely be Neifi AND Blanco. Who do you suggest at back-up catcher?
