  1. Well.. if Giants lose tomorrow, which is likely according to most sport analysts.. Seattle will play Chicago.
  2. Man, I'm gonna laugh SO hard if the Bears lose. Nuh uh.
  3. Poor Tony Romo. You'd hate to end it like that. Shame on his teammates for not cheering him up. Being in the playoffs, you seriously CANNOT miss those types of field goals. I dont know what is going on, with the Chiefs also missing a similer one earlier today.
  4. I'm sure if we really tried, we'd find someone who was selling their season tickets. I see myself buying it from someone else, rather than waiting to get called from the list. It'd probably be worth the money rather than the wait.
  5. It just sounds like he hates Chicago.. he doesnt wanna play here either.
  6. I'm just gonna go all out and predict.. because this is what happened to me in Madden's franchise. First round: obvious bye second round: defeat the Cowboys NFC champions: Bears AFC Champions: Chargers Super-bowl: Bears Superbowl MVP: Nathan Vasher
  7. Clemens has pretty similer statistics.. but he did it in more of a hitters era. Unless he took steroids, my vote goes for him.
  8. Yeah I read that in the Tribune too. Seems like they're preparing harder than they have in over a month. Hopefully it pays off. What article, exactly?
  9. So that people can get newborns on the list, I guess, and they might have a shot of getting tickets before they have to sign their children onto it. You cant sign up unless you're 18.
  10. What happened to the "100 reasons Cubs will be better in (Insert year here)"
  11. Go to Cubs.com, there's a place to sign up. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/chc/ticketing/season_waiting_form.jsp Why do they have 2007 as an optional year on the birthdays?
  12. The "Breaking News" box on ESPNEWS says "NYY and AZ have a tentative deal on Randy Johnson"
  13. Is he going to Iowa, Tennessee, or a single A club?
  14. If you were Lovie, who would you put in for most of the game?
  15. I dont think they'll really care whether the baseballs were juiced since the players were.
  16. They had an Olympics team, right? I can imagine Steve Stone taking part.
  17. For what team? Which other teams don't we like? The Brewers? The Padres? The Mets? Probably one of those 3 Astros.
  18. is there any chance, even little, that Wood will start in 2007? It just sometimes really saddens me that someone with his ability should be thrown into the pen. Dont bash me for my opinion, I'm just wondering if they're 100% sure he'll go into the pen?
  19. Well.. she is the official beat writer for the team. As long as she votes for Cubs, I dont care.
  20. Will anyone be coming off the injured list during the playoffs?
  21. The kid is named after Angel Guzman. That's some serious team chemistry.
  22. What is wrong with the Bears? It's clear to say Rex has got potential to be a star... we've seen him do that. Does he get nervous? I would still consider him a rookie. The same thing happened with Mark Prior in 2003 NLCS. I have no doubt that he will be great. So going into the playoffs, the Bears luckily have 2 weeks to make new plays, practice, watch tape of their own games and the other teams, hopefully notice enough weaknesses to beat them, and notice mistakes they need to fix themselves. Helping Rex mentally would really help IMO. Tharapy, massage etc. ? I still dont see Griese starting though, and I dont want him to.
  23. Which 10 players were those? The ones that Grimsley named? I don't know which 10 players they were. I think it's likely ESPN's source for this story is the New York Post: http://www.nypost.com/seven/12292006/sports/eight_of_balco_10_failed_steroid_test_sports_brian_costello.htm Here are the ten that were subpoenaed during the BALCO scandal: Barry Bonds Gary Sheffield Jason Giambi Marvin Bernard Benito Santiago Armandos Rios Randy Velarde Jeremy Giambi Bobby Estalella AJ Pierzynski Only Pierzynski was never called to testify. Is it wrong to hope AJ tested positive? NO!   Is it wrong to hope he gets hit by a train? That's less wrong.
