  1. Hahaha. I'm a picky laugher, and I laughed out loud on that one.
  2. Well.. considering that the Bears once called Wrigley Field their home, they were named in honor of the Cubs, (By George Halas because Cubs let his team play at Wrigley) and their logo is kind of similar.. I think it's okay to be just as loyal to the Bears.
  3. Why have I not yet seen a picture of a brown Bear eating a white horse?
  4. Sweet wheels, Thomas Jones. T-minus 97 hours! LESS THAN 100!
  5. Because when healthy he's a very good pitcher. But if he's healthy.. doesn't he already have a spot in the rotation.. why does he need to contend? because he needs to prove healthy. I'm confused. If he's pitching, doesn't that prove he's healthy? So why does he need to contend for a spot in the rotation if he can pitch?

  7. Why is Prior contending for a rotation spot?
  8. Man. Throw out the idea of having the game being shown on giant projection screens at Soldier Field.
  9. And now its less than 115 hours!
  10. Its Tuesday and I'm beginning to get nervous. It's really amazing. You follow a team from day 1 and now they're 1 game away from winning it all. Is this how it feels? Not a familiar site for a Cubs fan.
  11. http://www.stadiumsofnfl.com/past/wrigmain.jpg That is all.
  12. Thats not funny. Don't tempt the Gods. Take it as a reverse-jinx.
  13. Heh.. I scared my bandwagon cousin.
  14. So if he doesn't make the team during Spring Training, he'll still have the option to play in the minor leagues?
  15. This article just proves that Scoop is a terrible writer. It's heavily biased towards the Bears obviously, and the entire article is garbage. I'm also fairly certain Rex never said "When it's all said and done, I will have multiple Super Bowl rings." I'm pretty sure what he said was "If I have multiple Super bowl rings, I will be satisfied with my career," or something to that effect. No, he actually said it. Good. I like the confidence. Let's get #1 on Sunday, Rex. Its that same confidence that had him hucking it downfield against Arizona and New England even though he clearly didn't have it those days. Oh snap.. especially in Arizona..
  16. Many years, the actual game is a time to take a restroom or snack break between commercials. Not this year. Or 3 years ago.
  17. Prince This should be interesting. Thank god they put an end to MTV performing at half-time.
  18. Wow. One of the few good forwards I've seen. Where's the "E-mail this to 54 other people or Bears will lose the Super-bowl" ?
  19. Agreed. Hasn't Lovie repeatedly said he doesn't like or use trick plays? Well he does use the flea flicker here and there.. and the WR Reverse.. if thats what you mean by trick plays. If Bears are really struggling, I GUESS we can give abnormal substitutions a try.
  20. Apparently plenty of people. Those arenas are reasonably full each weekend, from what I've been reading. Personally I've never gone to a game. Enough for the general public to care. Its never even shown on ESPN. I'm sure if they showed it here and there, It'd get popular.
  21. Right, the Bears are just happy to be there. That must be why they have a giant banner that says FINISH at their hotel. I'm really happy that we don't have some homer jagbag like Simmons embarrassing himself and the city on ESPN.com. As opposed to writers from the Chicago papers (Jay Mariotti comes to mind immediately) routinely doubting and dissing the Bears week after week and never giving them respect. Unfortunately, we Chicago fans have only ourselves to blame for Mariotti. It's the readers who continue to read the guy, giving him carte blanche to spew his mindless rantings every day. Once he was proven 100% wrong about the White Sox in 2005 it should have been his waterloo. I'll never understand why so many people continued to read his column after that. His legs were completely cut off; it was a complete and total 'emperor has no clothes' moment, but even that didn't kill him. I personally apologize to the world for Mariotti. You know you suck as a sportswriter when the Cubs and Sox team up to go against you. Remember that letter they wrote him?
  22. So does anybody actually care about Arena Football?
