  1. I think this is the most posts we've had before a game since opening day.
  2. http://www.billiardwarehouse.com/lighting/college_logo/images/marshall-logo.gif
  3. On Stubhub, the cheapest bleacher ticket he can buy is $76. $69 on Ticketsnow. Bleacher tickets are sold out for that game on Cubs.com. If Bleachers arent that important, You can get upper deck tickets for a good price. $19-20 for the back sections.
  4. Welcome to NSBB! I would suggest getting there at 11:30ish if you want first row seats. I'm not experienced on buying tickets off the street, maybe someone else can help you with that. The bathrooms & vendors are fairly accessible. Just make sure someone watches your seat & belongings when you go.
  5. Back at .500... So match-ups are back! Milwaukee Brewers Vs. Sean Marshall http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/4237/brewersvsmarshalldr6.jpg Nothing special but Bill Hall. Chicago Cubs Vs. Ben Sheets http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/5429/cubsvssheetsuv1.jpg Ramirez has a homer against him, D-Lee owns as always, Ward has a homer, Floyd is hitting well. DeRosa is decent, Zambrano is awesome. Izzy and Jones both don't hit well against Sheets, but we probably won't have to worry about them. Match-ups on our side, again.
  6. Kind of late but... my annual... CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!
  7. It's midseason and Chicago Cubs have a better record than the New York Bankees. I never thought I'd see the day...
  8. Jose Reyes Johan Santana Joe Mauer Mark Teixeira David Wright Strong infield.
  9. Barry Bonds has 2896 hits and needs 104 more to get 3000. Could get it this year. I doubt it.
  10. If you want. Ben Sheets Vs. Sean Marshall should also be a good one.
  11. 1 more win and Lou will tie the longest win streak we've had with Dusty Baker... (7 games) It would take Lou 3 months, while it took Baker 2 and a half years.
  12. I think it'd be hilarious if this happened tomorrow. *Concurs* Just like Mr. 3000?
  13. Right after A-Rod. That'll be a sweet lineup! Our Santana-lead rotation & Gagne bullpen will make it sweeter.
  14. Frank Thomas really gained my respect when he signed with the A's last year for $500K. It proved that he plays for the love of the game, not the money. And whaddya know? He has an amazing 2006. .270/.381/.545 & an OPS+ of 141... 39 HR and 141 RBI. 4th in MVP. What a bargain, Billy Beane.
  15. An equivalent of Hill's first start of the year against the Brewers would be nice.
  16. I dont think TLR is the one that will decide who will get on the roster. He will however, decide how many innings Z will pitch... which will likely be 1. But if Lou really is trying to hold back on starters so they're fresh later on, he might suggest skipping ASG for Cubs pitchers. Just a thought.
  17. Yeah, cameras are allowed.
  18. Since when did Tim McCarver start working for Rotoworld?
  19. I think the key to the 9th inning was, we didnt have an 8-3 lead.
