  1. He had that amazing catch yesterday... Saving a couple runs... So technically he's hitting with his glove.
  2. The name of the AIM chat tonight is "WTFFloyd" Feel free to join or IM me on Cubs4life421 and I will invite you...
  3. Our corners have been roughed up tonight. Lets get a good lead and rest them for tomorrow.
  4. I wouldn't mind Stone as the pitching coach of the Cubs.
  5. Eventually, someone is going to hire Brenly to be a manager and Stone will naturally return to the booth...unless he gets a GM gig somewhere. Never gonna happen. He's almost made it crystal clear he doesn't want to GM. Many want him to, though. We better not get Dave Otto or especially Dan Plesac as the color man.
  6. They better. Don't want him to get a "Tennis Elbow" like Zambrano.
  7. Oh Bob. U so funnay! That said, I want Steve Stone back. He got a call on Boers and Berns asking him if he would come back, and he said something along the lines of "The door is open."
  8. that was hit too hard to be misplayed Cubs deserve that after the Lee catch yesterday. Let us enjoy it.
  9. He's got the hard part down... a triple.
  10. I'm all up for Soto starting... But I really hope he doesn't turn out to be one of those young players NSBB tends to greatly overrate... Corey Patterson, Jason Dubois, and Ronny Cedeno all come to mind.
  11. *Points to awesome avatar* Let the damn player start everyday and work out his problems. I can see him hitting #5, behind Lee and Ramirez.
  12. Family Guy is a great lead into Cubs baseball. They're both really big jokes.

  14. http://www.fangraphs.com/lgraphs/270911118_Cubs_Astros_48650992_lbig.png Looks like the sharp glass I want to drive Alfonso Soriano's blue Hummer over.
  15. Yes but he can hit the damn ball and get on the damn base... I'm sure Soto can do the same thing with his bat and his glove will obviously be better... But will his game-calling be better than Kendall? Would it be worth putting him in there if it isnt?
  16. True, but the majority of the blame should go to the offense and the opportunities they missed.
  17. Woody Williams says hi. Woody williams and his 2.25 ERA in 4 starts against the Cubs this year? Don't you think he's due? >_>
