  11. http://media.miamiherald.com/smedia/2007/09/12/20/50-marlinsnats3.embedded.prod_affiliate.56.jpg Looks worse than attendance at Olympic Stadium. It's too bad Florida Baseball is the way it is. "It's a beautiful day in Florida... Perfect for baseball... TOO BAD ITS INDOORS!... OR IN A FOOTBALL STADIUM!"
  12. While I agree with the signing, I disagree with the length. I would've given him 2-3 years to do what he can. If it's unsatisfying, bring in Joe Girardi or for our own entertainment, Dusty Baker.
  13. Now there's a Yankees commercial... http://www.actober.com/Commercials.aspx Also, half the clips in the Cubs video are from the Dusty years.
  14. I still believe they should move to Las Vegas and call themselves the "Las Vegas Gamblers" and hire Pete Rose as the coach along with that.

  17. +1 :D I'm serious. I had to take some tylenol about 15 minutes later because it was still achy. This, rather suprisingly is not my first Cubs-related injury. Not even close. I also did the same while jumping... and since there's a basement under my living room, the floor shook. First time in a long time we've been this excited about the Cubs.
  18. A little late but... As the ritual goes... CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!
  19. Eyrehead is also warming up. Who is due up for the 'Stros?
