  1. Look at the bright side... Didn't Chicago win that Arena Football thing in 2006? Woo.
  2. Jockstrap's Career OBP/OPS/OPS+: .329/.784/100 Torii Hunter's Career OBP/OPS/OPS+: .324/.793/104 Dear god no...
  3. It's just grass and cement blocks. Who cares. I think a lot of people would have wanted some Wrigley grass. Additionally, the goal post anchors: who knows if someone wanted them or not? Perhaps it would have been possible to reuse them. You can always throw it away, but if you throw it away, you can't put it to good use. They should have at least seen if someone had any interest or ideas of what to do with them. I don't understand why someone would want 90-year-old concrete. You don't think someone out there would pay decent money for the goal post anchors with 50 years of Bears history? I'm sure some idiot would, but think of it this way, the construction workers just saved that-said idiot thousands of dollars. Think about the $$ that would've gone to Cubs Care!!
  4. They have $$ and they spend it well. So to put it in conclusion: They scout well. They draft well. And they still have Tom Brady. Last time I checked, that's all you need. Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox....must be good to be living in Boston. Oh, forgot Boston College. God, that's depressing. I hate the entire new-england area. eff them. Of course, we had the bulls...but....since then we've had what? The sox and a failed attempt by the bears? ugh. I thought you hate the Bears?
  5. Drew, Jacoby Ellsbury, Bobby Kielty, Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, Matt Clement, Terry Francona, Theo Epstein, Bill James, Conan O'Brien, Ben Affleck, Jimmy Falon, Stephen King, and the remains of Ted Williams.
  6. "Bakerisms" is a proper name.
  7. Holy Jesus... That was stupid Holliday.
  8. Griese also said: "Unfortunately, or maybe even fortunately, the audio went out."
  9. I remember that (you did that twice, if I recall). I think you're the only person to actually ask to be banned. :D oh wow, I might have to do that. I've been considering it as well. Yeah, This is a good Idea. i think this might happen for me come finals. I've also been considering a suspension. We should do it the hard way for fun.

  11. This is so messed up. Give the trophies in front of the fans, celebrate on the field, and get off your knees.
  12. He does work for Fox. Although, that looks really stupid. Just give them the [expletive] mic or stand up.
  13. Didn't he have a press conference today on ESPNEWS? I was planning on watching it but forgot...
  14. What about the weight of their heart in kilograms? You have to factor that in.
  15. He did. Congrats Rockies. Well-deserved. Rockies would've owned Chicago if the Cubs made it to the NLCS.
  16. I've been a Red Sox fan almost as long as I've been a Cub fan. Always felt like they had a lot in common. Hahahahaha....Red Sox and Cubs have a lot in common? Hahahahaha. Notice I said had, not have. They're polar opposites today. They actually know how to hit. The fanbase, passion for the team, vintage ballparks, and the "curses."
  17. So much for the possibility of the Cubs winning round 1. They would've been owned by the Rockies anyway.
  18. or that you like. Sports management is a business. You have to look past your feelings and realize what's best for the team.
  19. Our thoughts and prayer go out to you on this day of mourning.
  20. Of course they don't. They have Bill James working for them.
  21. After this season, the only interleague matchup we will have not had is vs. Boston in Fenway. We will have played every other team in baseball at home and at their place. So... uh... Cubs @ Fenway in 2011? Also, LOL @ the Cubs never getting a win in Yankee stadium.
  22. I'm sure their main pet peeve is 12 straight post-season appearances --- currently the longest streak. Really, they don't know how good they have it.
