    The Cubs and Reed Johnson have agreed to terms on a one-year, Major League contract, the team announced. It's a $1.15MM deal, according to Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune (on Twitter). Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports first reported the agreement on December 21st (via Twitter).

    Epstein can stop being so cool anytime now Flying to Florida to meet with Quade, flying back to Florida to tell him he's fired, Winter Meetings, living part-time in Boston, etc. Man, Epstein must be really racking up those frequent flyer miles.

    If I was a Marlins fan I really have a hard time imagining that I would be mad at all. If I was a Marlins fan, I probably would not exist.

    Yea, that would be a relative pain in the ass to get to Wrigley Field to from every day. If I lived in that area and worked there, I'd definitely go the walkable route (and, thus, a bit closer to Wrigley than Theo went with). Didn't Sammy Sosa live in Lake Point Tower?
