    as the article clearly stated, no pitchers with what anybody would consider major-league talent have been willing to train with him. But Rudy Seanez is one. I have a feeling that his mechanics just force mediocre results. Also, to take someone with good talent and completely retool his mechanics could ruin them. maybe... there's always that risk. Of course, you could take someone with good talent, let him continue with his bad mechanics (Kerry Wood) and he'll be ruined anyway. But the article talks about guys who mostly went in throwing in the upper 70s to low 80s - not exactly top-shelf arms. I think it would be foolish to dismiss a guy just because he hasn't been able to polish a bunch of turds into gold.

    I've seen that movie probably 50 times. Are you kidding? On a rainy summer day in high school when I was off work, I tried watching it with three friends, and it was so remarkably unfunny that we just went downstairs and played Sega. It's honestly the worst movie I have ever seen.

BAA of .445! .908 fielding % Around 1.5 runs scored versus an average of 14 runs again Team ERA of 16.67 One of the team's starting infielders is 6-for-105 with no extra base hits, and he's made 23 errors. This has to be the worst baseball team ever assembled.

    there's no sense discussing this because tampa will not trade for a one-year rental, and they won't pay a starting pitcher (or any player) upwards of $10M per year.

    This is irrelevant. Nobody should make this a class or race war, which is inevitably where this is going. Let's just talk about men beating their wives. (First time I've ever said that.) or in the case of chuck finley, wives beating their husbands

    Those are always 95% of the trade proposals here. I think it really just goes with the whole message board community idea. I'm sure SoSH gets just as many of them. right, but people should at least try to separate "wishful thinking" from "realistic idea." I mean, think about the players you're throwing in these trades - Eyre, Jones, Izturis, Marshall, etc. If you're so eager to get rid of them, do you really think other teams are willing to give much up for them? Probably not.
