    Why not get him the work with guys on base we weren't going to win anyway I'd rather not risk it in a throwaway game. we don't even know if wood is going to be effective. He's basically starting over... I'd rather use him in those spots than in higher pressure situations right now.

    cliff looks like one of the fat kids in gym class trying to run down a fly ball. Basically slow and trying not to get hurt.

    isn't it usually a good idea for the catcher to position himself such that he can tag the runner out once he receives the ball?

    those are called foul balls. yeah that inning he was pounding the strike zone... guys weren't swinging at junk, but they weren't putting good swings on hittable balls. Everybody sucks right now except for Theriot.

    oh good oswalt has an ERA of 0.47 in his last three outings... maybe the cubs should just forfeit tomorrow and save zambrano for another time
