    Bitter fans, gotta love it. It's not being bitter....Bush is a tool. At USC, and now at NO. And once a tool, always a tool. a tool with a heisman trophy and a $55 million contract I think I'd trade places with him.

    It's annoying, it's a Bulls game and not a Jazz or Illini game. I bet the Bulls were quite happy that their home crowd was more interested in their opponent than whether or not the Bulls won. I love my former Bruins, but you don't see me going to Miami to yell at the Heat to play Jason Kapono or Charlotte to see Ryan Hollins or some other 12th man Bruin. Some people don't realize how big of a prepstar Dee Brown was in this town. Proviso is a quick shot from the UC and he has a TON of fans still in this area. He's one of the area's legendary prep stars and will always have a huge following in this area. His success at Illinois only raises that status. If you want to hate on something, hate on the fact that the crowds at the UC almost always suck because they pander to a very family friendly atmospheric crowd where people look at you funny if you try to start a chant or say something creative in the stands. That is the true travesty.

    Yowsers. I just read an article about a study that tracked the average % raise in relation to years the CBA is resigned. The year the CBA is resigned the increases are the largest, year after the second largest, and so on and so forth. Data shows the market to be very cyclical and Utley would have been due for FA at a perfect down time in the market. Not to mention he'd be 31 on the FA market at that down time.

    To me, doesn't make a lot of sense from Philly's perspective (I'm of the belief the market will diminish...) but... Utley's 85 million dollar extension

    Owned. OH jeez an awkward position the quarterback is in after a sack and the tight end is on his knees. Believe me, there are some we can post with Favre and Urlacher. Who's in the Conference Championship again? It must suck to not have ever seen a Super Bowl in your lifetime.

    Excellent decision. He will likely be in or near the top five Heisman candidates preseason and should be guaranteed a first round selection next year if he repeats his numbers. I think that's highly debatable. Brohm, Ainge, Henne, and Booty are all likely to go ahead of him. The last spread QB taken in the first round was Losman and he's been very mediocre in the pros, not leading a lot of credence to spread offense QB's translating their collegiate success to the pro game.
