    There is no way I can take my eyes off Steelers/Ravens today. This has already been an awesome game and gotta love the hate and chippiness! I'm very much rooting for the Ravens in this game.

    I just re-watched the final few minutes and the trophy presentations. A few thoughts: Marian Hossa absolutely deserved it. His signing was much maligned, and the shoulder injury made us all fear the worst. He is so smooth, so good in the corners digging at pucks and creating chances, almost by himself sometimes. We don't win the Cup without him, so much kudos to Hawks management for identifying an elite talent and taking the necessary measures to get him Duncan Keith is a beast. He is some kind of tough. Patrick Kane is going to be a 50 goal scorer in this league. He is too good with the puck in the offensive zone and with the elite level of talent playing around him, he is going to get his lanes. His stick handling is so good now, at the age of what, 21 (?) and he is going to become a more disciplined player and scorer and rip up the league in a nasty nasty way. Last thought. Who cares about the future right now. We have just erased a lot of the past we all were desperate to forget. This team has been such a joy to watch in the playoffs and I am ecstatic at how they have represented Blackhawk hockey so proudly with their performance.

    It was a rough Friday night. I was in Orlando and went out to the bar to watch the game (stupid hotel not having Versus...) and it was LOADED with philly fans. Luckily the guy I was sitting next to at the bar wasn't a total douche, but the douchiness reared its ugly head as I left after the 4th goal. I would have been kicking myself if the Hawks had come back to tie it in the last minute. I had a dream last night that the Hawks blew a 2-0 lead to the Red Wings and the Asshat Wings fan at my office never let me hear the end of it. Don't keep this up, Hawks, I can't take much more. Kyle, you are a drama queen and a half.

    Dear LeBron, We are wired correctly. We give a crap. We want to win. We are really really good. We are warriors. We could absolutely be the second-best and third-best guys on a team that wins multiple titles. Sadly, this can't happen without one of you. Please think about Chicago. It's cold during the winter, but during the spring and summer, there's no better place. It's the No. 3 TV market. It's the city that once had the greatest player ever. We're firing our coach and GM this summer; if you want, you can pick the next two guys. We want to win titles. Not title ... titles. By the way, Joakim wants you to know that he isn't nearly as annoying if he's your teammate. Much respect, Joakim and Derrick
