As a teacher for almost 50 years and a Cub fan for longer than that, I have often been accused of having too much patience. It was severly tested by the dismal showing against the Mets. I have managed Little league teams that played better than the Friday Night debacle. I don't care where the blame lies- I'm not into that- I almost quit when they traded Andy Pafko for garbage in the early 50's. I'm close to that point again. Sorrowfully, BruceCubs -

:D :D :D :D I would certainly die happy. I am a New York based Cub fan who remembers well the 1945 Series. I am also 73 years old, so I don't have too many chances remaining. I leave the anticipation to the young bloods. Bruce Davidson
