  1. Gotta help the SEC every chance they get.
  2. I like him because he isn't an ACC schill. I'll take a guy who is an ACC schill over a doofus who keeps talking about how Wisconsin is like a non-glazed doughnut. Yeah he's a dork, but at the same time we can cut back to the studio to have Digger Phelps rip on Michigan State for only putting up 64 points. "that won't get it done." Yeah Digger I'm sure the next time Tom Izzo needs some help on getting a team deep into a tournament he will turn to you, after all you have such a long history of success. But he beat UCLA once when they were really good.
  3. Hard to say, since they can do it without having to beat Pitt or UConn. EDIT: On the other hand, I fully expect the Big East tournament champion to be severely overseeded by the committee, since it's a tradition. Every conference tournament champion is overseeded by the committee, except the ones that were already #1 seeds to begin with. Louisville was probably a #2 already and has a case to be a #1, but they're definitely a #1 with a win tomorrow. Louisville DID NOT HAVE A CASE as a #1. They only took 1st in the conference because the unbalanced schedule favored them greatly. They lost to 3 non-tourney teams, one of them in humiliating fashion as that team collapsed. They're gonna get it I'm sure, but it'll be a crock outdone only by Memphis getting one. Why would it be a crock if Memphis gets a 1? 4-2 against the RPI top 50, 2 of those being over UAB. Should a team really be a #1 seed with wins over just 2 teams worthy of at-large bids?
  4. If Syracuse wins, I would like to see Syracuse and Clemson switched. Either way I think Clemson should fall, probably below the four pick em teams.
  5. Best 4 from earlier: Florida State Xavier Illinois Gonzaga Other locks: Purdue West Virginia Arizona State Butler Texas Utah Marquette BYU Wisconsin Texas A&M Oklahoma State California LSU Michigan Tennessee Boston College Conference winners: Cleveland State Portland State Western Kentucky Siena North Dakota State VCU Northern Iowa Cornell Radford Chattanooga Robert Morris Chattanooga Morehead State
  6. I'll be shocked if they get past Texas.
  7. I agree. Also, what do you do with Pitt?
  8. And Mizzou probably has the easiest path now...
  9. if Penn State loses to Indiana after amassing a 20 point lead in the 2nd half, they should fire everyone Villanova almost did it earlier lol. Indiana isn't exactly Marquette Texas Tech is pretty close, though. Anyway, my 4 team list is: Florida State Xavier Illinois Gonzaga I'll have the rest up later.
  10. Well what do you expect from a conference with 5 (yes, 5) out of conference D1 wins?
  11. I think I'm gonna start calling you conference the PAC!) forever.
  12. Buh bye Georgetown.
  13. Play-in game. In the CBI.
  14. Top 16 from here: Other teams in (30): Arizona State, Butler, BYU, California, Chattanooga (SoCon), Clemson, Cornell (Ivy), ETSU (ASun), Florida State, Gonzaga (WCC), Illinois, Kansas, LSU, Marquette, Missouri, Morehead State (OVC), Northern Iowa (MVC), Purdue, Radford (BSouth), Siena (MAAC), Syracuse, Texas, UCLA, Utah, VCU (CAA), Villanova, Wake Forest, Washington, West Virginia, Xavier Top 8 from here: (Bubble) (32): Arizona, Auburn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Creighton, Davidson, Dayton, Florida, Georgetown, Green Bay, Houston, Illinois State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Niagara, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Providence, Rhode Island, San Diego State, South Carolina, St. Mary's, Temple, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Tulsa, UAB, UNLV, USC, Utah State, Virginia Tech, Washington State, Wisconsin 1. Kansas 2. Washington 3. Wake Forest 4. Marquette 5. Illinois 6. Missouri 7. Florida State 8. Clemson 9. Butler 10. Purdue 11. Xavier 12. Syracuse 13. Villanova 14. Arizona State 15. Utah (I guess we'll just set aside that non-D1 loss...) 16. California Bubble Teams: 1. Texas A&M 2. Oklahoma State 3. Wisconsin 4. UNLV 5. Ohio State 6. Dayton 7. Michigan 8. Arizona
  15. The teams in bold shouldn't have a shot. Agreed?
  16. Uhhh I honestly don't follow much college baseball, but why did UCLA get swept by OU this weekend? I thought they were good.
  17. After Tennessee just let Alabama beat them at home, I would like to change my last bubble team to Wisconsin.
  18. Cheerleader holding up a sign that says "Morehead" = priceless. Austin Peay hits a big shot as time expires to take it to OT.
  19. Team A is Utah State and Team B is LSU.
  20. Bukie, can I play the blind evaluation game too? Team A: 25-4, 1-1 against the RPI top 25, 1-2 against the top 50, no losses outside the top 100, 10-4 R/N, 9-3 last 12, SOS 134 Team B: 25-5, 1-3 against the RPI top 25, 2-3 agaist the top 50, 1 loss outside of the top 100, 6-3 R/N, 10-2 last 12, SOS 95 Who's better?
  21. Derp. Lawl, I think Penn State is the only bubble team that actually wants to go to the dance.
  22. Penn State could end up short due to their terrible OOC schedule as well. Beating NJIT isn't exactly going to win you big points Bad non-con is why Kansas State won't get in. Well, that and losing to Iowa and Oregon.
  23. Stanford is 69, Iowa is 81. Those are their two worst losses. Ahhh it's because we're using Pomeroy/Sagarin ratings and not the RPI. I know that Pomeroy and Sagarin are better measures of how good a team is than the RPI, but RPI is what the committee uses. That's why NW isn't getting as much hype as Tennessee.
  24. I actually see Northwestern with 2 losses outside the top 100.
  25. A B C Team C shouldn't get in based on this.
