    That's dirt cheap compared to the Cardinals SRO prices. For a regular season Cubs-Cards game, they charge $18 bucks for a SRO ticket.

    Solid lineup. I wish this game was on WGN though, so that I could lay on my couch and watch it rather than watch it on the computer.

    I've been saving vacation days all summer for this. I don't know if you'll have to go to the box office to return them or if you will be able to do it by mail, but you can definitely return them one way or the other.

    Would a World Series win really be good for Cubs Nation? Do We Really Want This Team to Make the Playoffs? Great threads lately. What's next? "Do we really want to win today?" "Would having sex with Jessica Alba really be a smart idea?" How about "Should I Really Accept This Raise I'm Being Offered?"

    Marquis is better at home than he is on the road, and better in day games than he is in night games. Maholm is much worse on the road than he is at home, and much worse in day games than he is in night games. Plus, we're fighting for a playoff spot and the Pirates are playing just to play. I like our chances a lot in today's game.

    I don't put much stock at all into Pitcher Abuse Points. For one, it assumes that every pitcher should throw a maximum of 100 pitches, otherwise he's being abused. That's obviously not true. And secondly, throwing 110 pitches on 4 days rest is treated the same as throwing 110 pitches on 5 days rest when it clearly isn't.

    Romo vs. the Bears or Favre vs. the Chargers? Yahoo has them both putting up 17 points. I'm leaning towards Favre, but I wanted to get some other opinions.

    The pitching matchups in the Milwaukee-Atlanta series in tomorrow and Saturday's games really favor the Braves. I don't know who is starting for either team on Sunday, but with the Braves leading right now, they could easily win the first three games of the series. We could very feasibly be 3.5 games up when playoff tickets go on sale Sunday morning.

    I think that Albert is going to do all that he can to play. He's not the type to just wrap it up and call it a season.
