    Oh.... I just saw the Clement incident today. Man, that really sucks. Brought back memories of Steve Carlton getting drilled in the head. Not good. Hope he's all right.

    Awesome parents ya got there. Mine didn't really care what I did, as long I showed up to work in time and all. So I could stay up as late as I wanted to, and sleep in as late as I wanted to, as long I do some quick house chores and not being late for work. By the way, I hate to rain on the party, but can we at least quit on the Neifi arguement? It kinda gets old already. Yes, he's not good. Yes, he won several games for us, but he has also lost several games for us. Who hasn't? It's just get tiring.

    Heh. I think the rain will stop completely in a few minutes. Looking at the radar, the back end of the storm (front) is just about to pass Chicago.

    It's possible. But also the Royals game is also in a Rain Delay, and they're doing the "Rain Delay" promo as well, so it could be possible that the Cubs and Royals really want to get those games in, if necessarly. I'm sure the Giants and Cubs would rather not play a double-header, given the fact that they'll have to fly to Milwaukee. Edited: It stopped raining in KC, and the game is almost underway, so hopefully the same in Chicago as well. I can't speak for the Royals but the Cubs do not usually continue with live or semi live coverage during rain delays. Something must be up. My suspicious mind is on overload. lol, I wonder if tomorrow's game is suppose to be on CSN? My TV Guide says Giants @ Cubs for Wednesday.

    The what? Explain please.. I havent been a fan for very long.. Haha, I believe it was Angel Hernandez (sp) who was practically screwing the Cubs out of the game with really bad calls. Then the ex-NFL/Bear DT Steve Mongo (You might recall seeing him on WCW) came into the booth to do the 7th inning stretch, and he just literally talked smack to Hernandez, and Hernandez was facing Mongo and both of them had some type of a stare-down before Mongo went to sing. Didn't Hernandez eject him? Haha, I don't know, honestly. I do remember what he said, which was in jjgman21's post.     Man, some of them was so sad yet embarrasing. Where is the Mongo arguement to the ump at? That one is a classic.

    Yep. I happily got the STL series wrong. I think most of us are happy that we're wrong. I would say the majority of us would have expected 1-2.

    That's been pretty much a problem as of lately, for some strange reason. Not sure what is up with it. *shrug* Of course, Hill is a rookie, and I guess he was more worried about trying to get the batter out. I didn't watch the game, but I listened to it on the radio, so I guess someone else will have to clarify it.

    Macias is the only utlity man and emergancy catcher. He can't go. You're kidding, right? As far as I'm concerned, the majority of us in NSBB wants him gone. However, it won't happen, becuase of Dusty IMHO. Plus, whenever Nomar comes back, then the odds are that Cedeno will be going back to Iowa to get playing time.

    Really? I'll have to catch the replay. Yes, they also showed it on Baseball Tonight. Zito's got a bit more bite, but's it's awfully close, they also were impressed with his K of Alou on the high cheese. Yes, I saw that as well. Keep in mind that Zito have been in the league for almost 6 years, and that Zito is 27 and Hill is 23. So who knows? Time will tell.

    Ouch! I remember me and Outshined were talking about that Bartosh wasn't used often in the MLB level. I brought up to his attention that it seemed like he isn't being used alot as well in Iowa. I wonder why.
