  1. 4-0 on a Giles RBI double.
  2. Atlanta takes a 1-0 lead in the 3rd by a E-2.
  3. adequate defense? I'd say he's had Stellar Defense. Ahhh, robbing Pujols of the HR in RF at St. Louis really comes to mind on that one.
  4. Nationals @ Braves Cardinals @ Padres Pirates @ Marlins Mets @ Astros Phillies @ Colorado
  5. Wow, not a bad line up. Sure Neifi is in, but at least 1 thing make sense here. 1. Walker could use a day off. However, it still bothers me to see that Murton is stuck between the 7th and 9th spot. Would deftinaly look better if he was in the 7th spot, and Neifi in the 8th spot. Still, not a bad line up.
  6. http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/gameday_recap.jsp?ymd=20050727&content_id=1147014&vkey=recap&fext=.jsp&c_id=bal
  7. Well, if you choose to, you can just simply flick your tube to ESPN and try to catch it on there.
  8. Yeah, I remember that one was in May 1990, when Fisk was the catcher for the Sox, and Deion was playing for the Yanks, and Deion makes a pop-out and just stand there like he was already going to be out. Fisk said something along the lines of Run the Ball out or something Deion goes, "What?" Fisk: "Run the ball out, you piece of (bleep)." So he runs up and takes a little right turn about the 45-foot marker. I believe that one article was in the Boston Harold. Here is a link that shows it. http://www.sohh.com/forums/printthread.php?t=473663
  9. I saw the highlight as well, and I agree with your statement. It was just one of those freak plays, that's all.
  10. It may be funny, but the guy knows his baseball well. I wouldn't want to match up against him if that was the case. I would get blown out.
  11. I also want to bring up a point about Burnitz. There may be some days where he'll struggle at the plate, but IIRC, he saved us alot of those runs that looked like they were heading home in this game.
  12. He had a hamstring that acted up on him on Tuesday, where we had the rain delay, I believe, which he was pulled in the 2nd inning.
  13. Holy smokes. Al Leiter has has 85 pitches in only 3 0/3 innings aganist the Twinkies (Twins).
  14. Ha ha. That's excellent. What a great day in Chicago. Cubs win a series with a walk-off hit, Sox lose a series by a walk-off something (assuming it got to the 13th).. Bases loaded, 1 out basehit ended the game. Sox had a comfortable 5-0 lead before they just imploded.
  15. Royals defeat the White Sox 6-5 in the 13th. Royals win the series 2-1. :D
  16. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/2005/07/27/eNGCNVpy.jpg :hail: :hail: :hail:
  17. Considering that I get the Royals game here, stay away from Affeldt is all I can say. He's not that good, and he's a walking injury person.
  18. Someone forgetting about all of Mo Alou's GIDP to 3rd base? Felt like he made six for every HR he hit, at least. No, I remember them. I hated Alou whenever it happened. For the record, I like TWalk. I'm just pissed off with his recent play. I'm sure it will improve. I can relate what you're going through GlassCow. Some of us are upset about some player's performance, but we just gotta remind ourselves that some have their ups and downs. *shrug*
  19. Wouldn't matter. Neifi replaced Ramirez in the 8th.
  20. Goodness. Is this the Monday re-match of the 6 different pitchers vs. 6 different batters?
