  1. If the Marlins had any sort of starting pitching they would be really dangerous. That offense is ridiculous.
  2. We have a 6-run lead and I still don't feel good about Dempster coming in.
  3. DP!!! Eat that Froemming.
  4. Froemming once again. Retire already you fat piece of crap.
  5. That's joe Nuxhall. Been a Reds' announcer for about 40 years after finishing his playing career with the Reds. Around Cincinnati, he's as well known as any of 'em. yeah, i know full well who he is. i was being facetious. if you would have read my previous poists, my point is more about the absurdity of this Reds guy in the crowd/ Reds broadcast. as for Nux being the most famous Red? i still think not. shall i display stats? ;) Yes. I would most definitely like to see your stats on who is the most well known. That should be most informative. http://web.baseballhalloffame.org/index.jsp see: Bench, Morgan, Rose, etc. oh yeah... So? Billy Williams is in the Hall of Fame and Ron Santo is not. Which one is more beloved and more known by Cubs fans? Santo, because of his announcing career. The same is the case for Nuxhall. BTW, I believe Nuxhall will hold the record for the youngest player ever to play in a major league game for a long time. He was 15 when he got into a game in 1945. fine. you win all the money. Joe Nuxhall is the most famous Cincinnati Reds player of all time. Where's all those stats you promised us to refute that assertion ???? Give it up fellas. Not worth it. The Cubs are winning and may have a chance to clinch tonight. Enjoy the moment.
  6. If I was 21 i'd so head up there. Damn bars. If the Cubs somehow clinch tonight, you should go up there anyway. There will definitely be partying on the streets!
  7. All I ask is Lou does not use Dempster tonight. He's been awful lately.
  8. I'm getting really, really excited now. Might have to make a trip to Wrigleyville tonight.
  9. Jones!!!! 6-0. Woohooo!!!
  10. Please get out of the inning Maddux.
  11. stupid Hopper. Floyd killed that.
  12. 66 Don't really think it matters how many pitches he's thrown. He's definitely going to be on a short leash. Wouldn't be surprised to see Sheets pitch next inning.
  13. I'd love to get a couple more runs here. Come on offense.
  14. Yay Brady!!!!!
  15. I love that wink that Sori gave to Phillips as he was rounding 2nd on his homer.
  16. Yeah, he's really terrible. He's about as bad as it gets. I'd put him up there with Morgan and Buck.
  17. Phillies leading 3-0. Mets losing 7-3. Yikes. Glad I'm not a Mets fan.
  18. maddux gets picked off 1st. :x
  19. Z!!! Nice work big guy. Keep it up.
  20. 1 more out please Z.
  21. I could swear I heard him say, "payback for '69 bitches!"
  22. then why isn't he starting? Ned Yost is the manager?
  23. Apparently, Ben Sheets is available out of the bullpen tonight.
  24. That's a crap hit. :x
  25. Braun hits it a mile, but only gets the sac-fly.
