  1. C'mon, Aramis. That's no way to represent the Cubs, by walking.
  2. Dunno. He played for some team that starts with a "C". I think it's a city on a lake.....or something like that. I'm probably way off ;) Cleveland is way off.
  3. On the plus side, I look forward to Scooter teaching me all about this game called baseball all night tonight.
  4. I enjoyed being a fielder more, but there was a higher level of esteem if you could keep from getting tagged out for long periods of time while running the basis. Tough question. I also enjoyed being a fielder more. It was great when you would throw it high to entice kids to run and then still pick them off.
  5. BTW, love your screen name, TRD. I tried to get the gmail address therobotdevil@gmail.com, but every variation on it was taken. :( Thanks a lot. I've promised to change the Robot Devil icon if D Lee plays at the All Star Game (This was before he was voted in), but I love the guy - it was his "how deliciously ironic" that did it. I think I prefer him to Death on Family Guy... rest assured, however, its just a name. I'm neither evil nor robotic. Favorite Robot Devil line: "You're not nice!" Favorite Death line: "I'll see you real soon... hahaha, is he kidding?" Great characters. I have nothing to add regarding the actual game being played, btw.
  6. Running bases was the greatest simple game involving more than two people. "Catch" was the greatest for 2 people. Simply shooting baskets was the greatest for one. I'd venture to guess that I spent about 85% of my free time as a young'n doing one of those three things. Here's the question: Did you guys enjoy running the bases more or being the fielders?
  7. Tom Servo = God (MST3K version, at least. Though I chuckled at this as well.)
  8. Do you ever like that schedule? :?
  9. Yeah I had some success a little before 11 and have been waiting since then. same here. 3 times before 11 and nothing since.
  10. UM, how fast was the line moving, my roomate has 2668, when do you think that will be called? don't you have enough tickets!? ;)
  11. what trick is that? You chant "two, two, two" while you watch your browser windows reload. lol. Doesn't seem to be working, though. I wonder when they're going to get to # 10646 at the box office. :)
  12. I've been calling and vwr for 2 hours now and nothing... 3 computers VWR, got through 7 times Wow. I'd be careful walking down the NSBB dark alleys today talking about that. Congrats!
  13. I don't think it matters. It's like every lottery - you need to have about 100,000 entries to up your chances of winning by single digit percentage points. well i was thinking that if it's freezing up or not resetting for people with that many windows open, maybe 15ish is better? don't know, just saying that's how i've been lucky.
  14. I've gotten through 3 times using only about 15 windows. Maybe that's better than 50 or 60?
