I get Suzuki is our second best hitter but is it THAT crazy to trade him if you get a great pitcher back? By most measures we’re a top-3 offense in baseball. Does the value add of improving our rotation outweigh the loss to our offense? It’s pure speculation and curiosity here but how much worse do we get platooning conforto/shaw ?
I wonder if the Yankees would be open to dealing Elmer Rodriguez. They need hitting bad.. seems like he hasn’t played great in his time in the majors but it’s early, he’s young, and he’s controllable
