  1. Exactly. These other posters that can’t separate that are the types that stop talking to their best friends just because they don’t think exactly like them. Irrational behavior.
  2. Your hate runs deep and it’s been part of you your whole life. Stop pretending . All it took was Shaw attending an event for your intolerance to show.
  3. You get triggered to easily. Derangement is real! I pray for you.
  4. You are part of the problem and don’t even realize it. Your hate is as deep as the one you accuse.
  5. Keep your politics to yourself. Ridiculous! , I can’t root for him because he’s a nazi and got permission from team to attend. Crybaby!
  6. It’s definitely going to be a tough road to the WS .compared to 2016 but no Dominant team has showed it’s face this year so it’s up in the air. The Cubs were the favorite in the NL that year
  7. The Cub vs Padres! How do they match up?
  8. Short term? Really. I hope you’re right
  9. Not a playoff game but I’m sure they would love to clinch the game . It’s been a month now with his poor performance so what I’m saying is that he has lost his spot as a starter in playoffs. Maybe #4 starter if needed otherwise perfect as long reliever if needed
  10. Worst hitting team in NL and a clinching game for playoffs and he’s wetting the bed. Now imagine when it’s a playoff game. Do you trust him?
  11. Neither the Cubs or Brewers going anywhere come playoff time. The Brewers peaked to early and the Cubs are what we see. Both teams are out 1st series assuming they don’t play each other.
  12. Who gives you the better chance to win tonight and the answer is Cassie based on the previous 2 weeks. Every game counts now. I know history tells you Suzuki is a good hitter but sitting him a couple of games wil probably help. Seemed to work with Tucker. Suzuki has had 2 months to get out of slump! How much longer due you give him before you sit him for a few days? Tucker sat for 3 days and he’s considered a better hitter. What’s the difference?
  13. The point is you’re not using Cassie enough and Suzuki isn’t performing. Good reason to sit one player and use the other. I guess he hit a couple balls to warning track so he deserves to keep plugging away.
  14. Not understanding not using Cassie. What a waste. He clearly loyal to veterans to the extreme. Give Suzuki a couple of days of rest and see what happens. Isn’t this an obvious move? Why doesn’t this overpaid manager get it? Stubborn maybe?
  15. I appreciate the feedback. It’s just a question I’m asking. I’m wondering why ?
  16. It’s basically saying metrics show his curveball has excellent movement but he’s hanging it all the time.
  17. If he doesn’t have command of those pitches then those metrics are silly.
  18. You would think the Cubs have access to all the information you have about his pitches correct? Then why I are the Cubs telling him to primarily use his fastball? They eye test doesn’t jive with your metrics information.
  19. Well if that’s the case and you trust all these metrics then why is he not using it more often? Seems like manager and Palencia himself don’t agree with metrics.
  20. His fastball is above average but from what I’ve seen his slider is sure doesn’t seem above average. Not sure how FanGraph judges pitches but that slider seems like a gift to the hitter when he throws it.
  21. If Palencia in the future can improve on that secondary pitch it will help him tremendously. His fastball is definitely good but lacks any movement and his secondary pitch in my opinion is below average. It’s roughly 87mph and doesn’t really move which in turn is just slow fastball. He will get many more strikeouts by getting better at second pitch. His strikeout percentage is decent but considering he throws 100 mph batters make a lot of contact due to lack of movement and below average second pitch. What do you fellows see?
