    Well if the can’t score more than 3 a game in the series they won’t win it so let’s see what happens. If they don’t score at least 4 in one of the remaining 2 games they are toast. 4 is the magic number

    PCA baseball IQ is questionable. He can’t figure out not to swing on 1st pitch when everyone knows he won’t get a strike. He’s an over emotional fool.

    I never said he D sucks . I said he makes crucial errors on easy plays in big games. Today he did well but don’t get ahead of yourself. If he hits it will offset any errors. His bat has been a disappointment with the Cubs but if he gets hot than it’s easier to overlook the other mistakes. Remember you are bringing back up. If he makes a critical error make sure you bring it up to me like you’ve done.

    he was the first big free agent on the rebuild and he sure isn’t Jon Lester from 2016. He’s been a disappointment when it’s counted! Yes or No?

    I think this basically tells you the Cubs in general are not taking these last few games seriously . I’m sure Counsell and upper management said it was ok.. you can also see it with the rest of the team after clinching. Not sure why they even celebrated the way they did when they haven’t accomplished crap. They were favored in the beginning of the year to win the division and are hobbling in and it’s being accepted with rest of team.

    I wouldn’t let him off if I owned the team but the issue is the reaction of the posters saying they can’t support him because of his connection to Kirk.. Judge him for him not wanting to play vs his political leaning. That’s all I’m saying

    Hate to break it to all the posters but you can safely assume half of the Cubs players grew up in small conservative communities and probably support the opposite views. Are the triggered people on this forum going to refuse to wear the jerseys, be real people.
