With the MLB trade deadline on Thursday, July 31st., the Cubs seriously need to look at adding pitching depth in order to remain competitive for the postseason. In various media reports, the Cubs have shown interest in Seth Lugo (Royals) and Mitch Keller (Pirates). The Cubs are indeed looking to upgrade their rotation, and those two are a start.
