Lol come on you cannot tell me Happ has done anything this season to be hitting 3rd. He’s been bad all season long. Got incredibly lucky in that first inning with a weak seeing-eye ground ball.

Let’s also not overlook constantly leaving starters in too long, consistently batting the likes of Kelly and Turner in the top half of the lineup when they’ve been garbage for a month now while Shaw sits in the 8 or 9 hole. Playing Happ almost every single day when he has been one of the worst hitters in the MLB. Yes players make mistakes, but a lot of the Cubs issues fall at the feet of Counsell and he’s done almost nothing to change things up.
