    The Rockies have a superior bullpen ERA compared to the Cubs. You are right that the Nats is worse in every category. They have easily the statistically worst bullpen in baseball. My point was that the Cubs are so bad that you have to realize that some of these upcoming teams have better bullpens, and the bullpen pitches what, on average, close to 45% of your innings? We need to figure this pen out.

    Yes they are slightly better. Bullpen ERAs sox 4.62 cubs 4.75

    While we can say (with numbers) that the upcoming schedule looks easier. We also have to admit that every team we will play, except for the Marlins, has a superior bullpen to the Cubs.

    Ok we now have 17 games to go in May - every single games is against a team < .500.

    Big game Palencia! He had the key pitches. Great start (uh relief appearance) by the young gun. I know giving up a 3 run homer is not ideal but beyond that he walked nobody and threw a good amount of strikes. I hope he sticks now. He should match up against the White Sox next. Keep it going!!

    Who is the PCA comp? By that I mean if this kid fulfills his potential - who has come before him that he would most resemble?
