  1. Yankees - ha ha, I was joking! (But I'm going to have to do NY some day) I don't want the responsibility of a car, so will be relying on public transport. Thinking of getting myself to Milwaukee for the first half and then down to Chicago. Is it realistic to stay in Chicago and travel each day? Brewers Cubs is a big local game, would worry it might sell out? Mid season might not be so difficult, but do you need a purchase history? I don't want to have to sell my soul or even just my **** to a re-sale site. I'm new here, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of the parochial prejudices about cheeseheads.
  2. Hello Cubbies. If I met any of you at the London Series this year, hello again! I'm planning a wee trip from Scotland to the states next year to take in some baseball and whatever else comes my way. I'm looking at late June and early July which would take in Brewers away and Phillies at Wrigley. Would really appreciate advice and tips about where to stay, buying tickets, beer, food and that sort of thing, but tickets and beer are the priorities. If you don't think WI/IL is a good idea, please just say so and I'll go see the Yankees instead. 😞 Thanks in advance for any responses.
