I like Wisdom, but idk why Parades isn’t in the lineup today. RH SP that’s throwing 95 mph and lives in the top of the zone isn’t a good match up for P. Wis, and Parades hits the fastball well.

Players are against it too. Specifically, the catchers that are good at framing. Lots of defensive catchers with no bat are pressuring the players association not to agree to proposed changes because they’d have to find a new profession, or actually learn how to hit a horsefeathers baseball.

Beth Mowins tries to do a national broadcast approach that’s just annoying af to listen to. You’re on Marquee. When the other team is up to bat we shouldn’t have to listen to the “Guardian hitter has a chance to score the run from second,” I’m not saying the broadcaster needs to be an out right homer, but at least stop rubbing salt in the wounds.

Ultimately, it worked. Wisdom did end up going 1/2 while hitting a double, setting up runners on 3rd and 2nd for Seiya to hit a sac fly and score a run. I didn't like the move though just because his second AB where Wisdom got the double ended up being against a RHP. Busch would have only ended up with 1 AB against a LHP before having the rest of the night against RHP.

Yeah, that's his HR celebration. Glad to see Happer hitting the FB hard. 97 mph low in the zone too, and he was all over it. Nice to get those extra runs for the pen.
