    With the Mets loss today against the D’Backs, they’ve suffered back to back home losses in the regular season for the first time since July 2024. Bodes well for our upcoming visit to Citi Field. I guess.

    Dansby really can’t do both things well at the same time, can he? He’s hitting now, so his defense has gone to crap. When he plays like the GG defender we know he is, he won’t be able to hit.

    It seems like Boog and JD don’t travel a lot and this series, it’s Boog’s turn not to travel.

    Say what you will that Wrigley Field’s basket means home runs are travelling a shorter distance than the outfield wall, but it being there prevents fans accidentally falling onto the warning track.

    I watched it again and the fan literally stands up quickly and dives over the railing. Calling it a suicide attempt is something I don’t want to say, but that’s just what it looks like.

    Real Madrid thought they were through with Lionel Messi after 15+ years and could breath a sigh of relief. Now they will have to contend with Lamine Yamal. Glorious to see. What a footballer!

    Cramps. 🙂 Vidal Brujan genuinely looks like the happiest person out there. Good for him. Some players never make it to the majors and he can say he has.
