I never mentioned Brown so now sure why you bring him up... at any rate, personally I'm more confident in Horton/Steele contributing positively going forward than Cabrera. Plenty of pitchers have come back from a 2nd TJS. Jed needs to construct a better 2027 starting staff and acquire a true ace - anything from Horton/Steele should be considered a bonus, I'm guessing we all agree on that.

Probably, but ultimately Jed has pursued the same type of arms since he took over.

It's time for a new pitching coach but he won't fix the lack of swing and miss that's missing from the Cubs' staff.
