  1. They probably want to keep Wesneski stretched out in case of another injury in the rotation
  2. Isn’t is his issue location of pitches? Idk how that would help
  3. Yeah seems like it, chibears probably saw this article that referenced that tweet https://www.si.com/mlb/cubs/news/chicago-cubs-world-series-veteran-placed-on-il-again-dylan9
  4. this is the tweet I think he’s talking about. But I have no idea who this is
  5. First a historic implosion from the bullpen and now a historically awful start to the season from Hendricks. Pitching is going to be a huge issue this year, especially if Taillon doesn’t rebound after his terrible season last year
  6. Well this is getting real bad now, he’s just toast
  7. Might as well just keep him in there and save the bullpen a bit. He’s just doesn’t have it anymore
  8. Can’t really keep a guy in the rotation if they struggle after a single turn. If Brown is still pitching well when Taillon comes I hope they consider it instead of just keeping Hendricks in the rotation just because of what he’s done in the distant past.
  9. A lot of hard hit balls this inning against Hendricks, feels like he really struggles the second turn through the lineup
  10. So you guys are saying we don’t need to batten down the hatches?
  11. Does Neris get the 9th? Or does he only come in with a comfortable 10 run leads?
  12. It would be huge if Almonte ends up not sucking
  13. Nonetheless a great outing for Brown, good thing no one overreacted after his first outing went really poorly
  14. Cmon just let him face one more guy
  15. At least they are making him throw a lot of pitches
  16. Really need to win this one, have no faith in Hendricks tomorrow.
  17. This one was so bad though it hasn’t happened to the club in 22 years. This was a massive implosion not seen most of the time.
  18. Doesn't Wieck still have options too? He'd be a good fill in if they 60 day Merryweather
  19. Did I hear that correctly, this is the first time the cubs have blown an 8 run lead since 2002? Bullpen is a serious issue
  20. Neris looked awful but somehow got lucky enough to get thru 1
  21. Gotta score some more runs, even those outs were hit really hard
