He’s 1 for 9 against lefties with no home runs. Playing matchups is smart but it would be ideal to see a larger sample size to whether he can hit them or not.

Hopefully this is just to rest Busch for game 2 but he’s gonna have to face left handed pitchers sooner or later.

I get that but you got to give him a chance to play, aside from strikeouts he’s played pretty well in his brief sample size. Morel at 3B and Wisdom at DH with Canario in RF would have made way more sense. Hopefully there aren’t too many balls hit his way.

Ross and Counsell do share one thing, their mutual hatred for Canario. Play the kid.

I’m assuming that’s Hendricks last chance on Sunday. If he can’t stifle a team as bad as the marlins then he has no place in the majors.

Didn’t he throw like 40 pitches? I don’t think that would hold him for 4 days. But Wesneski is probably the most likely to be sent down, but much prefer Hendricks being sent out.

Man they keep winning despite some really stupid occurrences. Feels like Counsell is pushing all the wrong buttons. Maybe they are winning games they would have otherwise lost with Ross managing.
