My guess is Brewer, Palencia was elite in that first inning vs the Mets and the brewers game. And i think they’ll keep lovelady until smyly comes back

I’m not too mad about Wesneski at 90, what was really stupid was pulling Assad and Taillon at 78 pitches against the Mets. That’s played into the bullpen being overused, it’s one of Counsells habits of pulling starters early and putting a lot of workload on the relievers. It worked with the Brewers because they have a fantastic bullpen but it’s gotten exposed real bad here because this bullpen is just very middle of the pack

Gotta control the run game too, just letting them take second base is not a good move. Resulted in 2 runs there

Yeah this bullpen is a serious mess right now. Will help once you get Steele and Wicks back but Hoyer had to add more arms. Hopefully the bats can wake up a bit
