Hmmm i did say anyone would be an upgrade at 3B at this point but i may have been wrong if they brought in Lopez -

Just from the eye test they both have looked pretty bad this year defensively. Tucker especially has taken bad routes and misplayed a few balls. -

Doesnt he have a career FIP and ERA over 5? I think hes sucked a decent sample size. His numbers in the minors havent been impressive either.

Hes played there a small bit in the minors. The slop the Cubs have put out at third so far havent been strong defensively either My preference is always to address an issue before it becomes detrimental to the success of the team

Tbh id prefer them call up Long from AAA and just stick him at 3rd. Cant be worse than what they have gotten so far from Shaw/Berti/Brujan/Workman.
