Cubs will have three exhibition games July 19, 20, and 22nd. First two with the White Sox (home and home) and the last at home vs. the Twins.

Two things I notice right away. 1. Teams can take up to 60 players but the Cubs are going with only 50 to start. 2. No Brandon Morrow.

Crane Kenney was interviewed on The Score this morning. Said he expects a deal to get done with Comcast very shortly, possibly even in time for spring training games against the White Sox(!).

Is MLB really going to allow individual teams/cities to decide if they can have fans present at their home games? Besides the obvious competitive advantage, doesn’t it seem like a bit of a mixed message if they’re telling the players they must isolate and they can’t even leave their hotel on the road but it’s suddenly okay to be around thousands of fans at game time?

I don't want a full refund, I just don't want to pay for a full season when we're getting half a season I'm in the same boat. I haven't contacted them, since I still want the subscription, but I'm hoping they are just going to automatically issue pro-rated refunds once an agreement is in place. Couldn’t you cancel, get your full refund and then sign up again at the monthly rate for however long the season lasts?

The parrot video is the only reason I ever remember him. He was also at the plate for the walk off wild pitch against Philly that year that put us in first. I was there, otherwise I might not remember that. That game had one of my favorite Len Kasper calls. “Cubs win! The FIRST PLACE Cubs win!”

Not even that bad with the technology we have. Bilasport always has the best stream with no popups and I can easily cast to my TV. Not even that angry about Xfinity not coming to terms yet Yeah this is actually not bad at all. -

I find that I haven’t been following sports much at all since the loss of Deadspin. Is there anyone out there with that same kind of snarky, opinionated, political outlook? Or do I just need to follow a bunch of people on Twitter?

Why can’t the Cubs have one guy as cool as Doolittle? I know that when the team went to go see Trump in 2017 some players skipped but I don’t remember anyone making the kind of statements Doolittle has.
