    I don't really care enough about the Sox to really be pissed, but it definitely annoys me that they picked up former great prospects at a discount when their original teams gave up on them (Danks, Floyd, Quentin) and when they get to the Sox they suddenly figure it out. I still think Floyd's numbers are flukey as hell and Quentin is playing over his head, but still. I also still find it mind boggling that Arizona gave up on Quentin so early, just so they could sign Eric effing Byrnes to an extension. Imagine is the D-backs had Quentin over Byrnes right now. Terrible, terrible trade.

    Corey Patterson just got thrown trying to steal 3rd base with 2 outs in a one run game. Awesome.

    JJ Hardy botched a routine double play ball that would have ended the inning and the Nats capitalized (see what I did there?) by scoring 4 runs.

    Good. I'm all for every different kind of instant replay. Home runs, safe/out calls, fair/foul balls, etc. I don't care how long it takes either.

    Even if he didn't have arm problems I'd never do it. Mauer has been a bit of a fantasy disappointment so far, but I still would not do it. Don't pay for saves.

    I really think this team is just a #2 starter away from being a legit World Series contender. Without that #2 starter though, I don't really see it.

    I'm more upset with the fact that Lou still has him batting 5th. He's a prototypical top of the order hitter. batting him 5th makes no sense, other than that he's on based for GEOVANY SOTO a lot.
