How would you know this? He's pretty much come out and said it. I'm friends with a couple of O's fans and they've told me the same. Ah gotcha...I thought you were trying to be one of those posters who pretends they can read a player's mind. Wait, was that sarcasm?
I don't want Bedard. He's an injury risk, is inconsistent, and is the type of guy that would fold under the pressure of playing in a big market. Bedard is only concerned about picking up his paycheck, he couldn't care less about the game.
That's kind of surprising, because there was a player's poll in the latest SI asking what player they'd most want to start a team with, and Jeter was second.
I heard that too. Can somebody who is familiar with injuries like this give some more information? He did say the results were encouraging. Are we talking like a month? Less?
I love it. It just makes the Sox look more insecure and bitter about the fact that nobody cares about their team. The Cubs never talk about the Sox because they simply don't care about them.
Just got back from the game. What an embarrassing series. We knew before Marmol even came in that he was wild as hell. We were watching him warm up and he was all over the place, like not even coming close. I don't know if you could see it on TV, but there were at least 2 throws of his that got away from the catcher and went down the line.
For the record, Lou did say in the postgame that the MRI would be done Friday, so we shouldn't read anything into this. Bruce Levine also said on ESPN 1000 that he'll miss "at least one start". I'd be very happy if he only missed a few starts.
