At a minimum I think he needs to be ordered to take anger management training and be benched for at least one start.     Jesus, either Zambrano is a way superior fighter, or the more likely case, Barrett went in the clubhouse to make amends and Z ambushed him. I read on another site that Dave Kaplan said that is exactly what happened. According to Dave, Zambrano was shouting at Barrett from the clubhouse and telling him to be a man and fight, Barrett went down to calm him down, and then Zambrano attacked him again. Zambrano has always been one of my favorite Cubs. But after yesterday's incident, I no longer like the guy and am embarrassed that he's on the Cubs. to further mizzou's sentiments...anybody want a used zambrano jersey t? haha

    maybe... people would've thought Alex Gordon to 3B and Teahen to RF would be a big upgrade for the Royals' lineup, but Gordon has been awful. It might take Braun a while to adjust too. I don't disagree at all, but Braun doesn't really have to do much to be a significant upgrade. Milwaukee's 3B are hitting .214/.320/.273/.593 this year. i think braun can definitely beat that line...the kid hits it hard to all fields from what i've seen....sad to see him go, he's fun to watch.

    i don't wanna start a new thread for this but i went to the Sounds game tonite and Yovani Gallardo was stellar again...striking out 11 over 6 IP....here is his line -- IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Gallardo, Y(W, 5-1) 6.0 1 0 0 2 11 0 2.22 isn't it about time milwaukee calls him up and gives him a shot in the rotation? i think so, though i'll be sad to see him go...he's great to watch.

    but they ARE different....i hear they have an extra muscle in their legs that makes them run faster and jump higher! and for those who can't figure it out, that was sarcasm....sad that i even have to put a disclaimer on the post.

    Really? That's interesting - he had started playing 2B more in previous seasons because his arm wasn't strong enough, supposedly. That's good to hear. yea, he made a couple of nice plays...one where he ranged into the hole to get the runner at first.

    he played at SS while the Cubs were here in Nashville...didn't look too bad out there....his arm is a lot stronger than i once thought.

    There was nothing make-believe about Macias. I've seen him and he's scary! he's playing for nashville this year...i haven't decided whether or not i wanna heckle him or be his biggest fan...i think being his biggest fan would be funnier....you know, showing up to every game with a sign that has his face on a gremlins body...continuously singing my praises for him and asking him for and receiving his autograph an obscene amount of times this year. Be His Fan!!!!!!!!! i believe that's what i'm gonna do....time to get the sign made (i'm actually going to a sign shop in town to have one made, haha)...might have to get a t-shirt as well and what i'll do is just have him sign it repeatedly...this is going to be a great summer at the ballpark

    A lot of that slg% is singles driven because he has a jesus christ like .485 babip. When that goes down, and it surely will, that slugging percentage will plummet unless he starts hitting the ball out of the park again. This is very simple guys, I don't know how you keep getting it wrong. Jesus's BABIP was never above 440. heh, nice
