  1. Updated FG: 40. Moisés Ballesteros 55, Jefferson Rojas 80. Pedro Ramírez Outside the top 100 but 50 FV: Jaxon Wiggins
  2. Scheduled Game (Central Time): ACL Cubs at ACL Guardians, 8:00 pm All full season teams have the day off
  3. I believe all ACL Cubs home games are played at Sloan.
  4. Yeah, could also be bad news about Cepeda.
  5. Scheduled Games (Central Time): Iowa at St. Paul, 2:07 pm Knoxville at Rocket City, 2:35 pm South Bend vs. Ft. Wayne, 1:05 pm Myrtle Beach vs. Columbia, 5:35 pm ACL Cubs have the day off Probable Starters: Iowa: LHP Jordan Wicks (rehab) Knoxville: RHP Nick Dean (15.1 IP, 6.46 ERA, 3.05 FIP, 19 K, 5 BB) South Bend: LHP Jackson Brockett (16.1 IP, 1.10 ERA, 3.87 FIP, 15 K, 6 BB) Myrtle Beach: RHP Luis A. Reyes
  6. Yeah, very annoying. It wasn't like this last year. Here's the ACL box: https://www.milb.com/bootstrap?state=/gameday/844738/final/box
  7. Wonder if Juan Cabada pulled a Jefferson Rojas and needed only one game in the ACL before being promoted.
  8. I learned the hard way when I panicked that Wiggins had thrown like 12 straight balls in his pro debut. It was against the Giants who have a livestream so I went back and looked afterwards and they were all walks on 3-2 counts.
  9. Cabada with a 2-run triple. 3/4 on the day.
  10. ACL pitch counts aren’t accurate. Normally, they record strikeouts as just 3 strikes and walks as just 4 balls no matter what actually happens. Great debut for Wing. Yander María now in.
  11. Wing gets 4 outs in the first: popout, K, K (reaches 1st on C throwing error), groundout. Juan Tómas HR!
  12. Kaleb Wing getting the start for his pro debut down in Arizona.
  13. Scheduled Games (Central Time): Iowa at St. Paul, 2:07 pm Knoxville at Rocket City, 6:35 pm South Bend vs. Ft. Wayne, 3:05 pm Myrtle Beach vs. Columbia, 6:05 pm ACL Cubs at ACL Athletics, 1:00 pm - season opener Probable Starters: Iowa: LHP Doug Nikhazy Knoxville: RHP Tyler Schlaffer (9.2 IP, 12.10 ERA, 5.92 FIP, 16 K, 9 BB) South Bend: RHP Kevin Valdez (13 IP, 5.54 ERA, 4.56 FIP, 13 K, 6 BB) Myrtle Beach: RHP Dominick Reid (18.1 IP, 4.91 ERA, 4.23 FIP, 21 K, 7 BB)
  14. The guns aren't hot at AAA. It's Statcast.
  15. It was a grind for Caple but he had a scoreless outing. Thought McGwire might get a 5th (and his run could have been unearned).
  16. Between the 3 of them, I bet if the Cubs had the choice, Rojas would be the odd man out: Shaw has big league success and OF defense success, Pedro is a switch hitter and already at AAA and Rojas probably won't be a big league SS (but can juice trade models by playing SS).
  17. Eric also said that Pedro would be added to the top 100.
  18. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/47684227/2026-top-10-prospect-rankings-all-30-mlb-teams-kiley-mcdaniel ESPN May update:
  19. BA has him down at 21. Not sure what I'm missing but I'll gladly take him at 23 and pivot to pitching the rest of day 1.
