  2. I think this matches up well with their prospect capital. Feels like Jed is willing to part with AAA prospects due to the big league team but was less willing to part with Rojas or Wiggins. In hindsight, the Bubic injury felt like a big impact on the deadline. We know the Royals liked Caissie and Bubic was under control through 2026. (Though good thing for the Cubs he got hurt before any potential trade.)
  3. That’s not good: https://chicago.suntimes.com/cubs/2025/08/14/cubs-miguel-amaya-reacts-to-landing-on-il-again-its-frustrating

  5. No Caissie but I bet it was an honor seeing Will Sanders bat! Twice!
  6. Well, yeah, but that's because BA still considers Misirowski a prospect even though he's lost his eligibility. The Cubs farm system would look a lot better if Horton got to stick around on rankings.
  7. Kiley McDaniel updated his top 10s at ESPN. Feels like these guys might not need to update their lists as frequently, very little changes.
  8. Juan Tomás is out again today. His last action was on August 4th.
  9. Also the Cubs now slot in at 22 in BA's updated top farms:
  10. BA updated their top 30 too: https://www.baseballamerica.com/teams/2005-chicago-cubs/prospects/ 1. Moisés Ballesteros 2. Owen Caissie 3. Jefferson Rojas 4. Jaxon Wiggins 5. Kevin Alcántara 6.
