  1. Nice! Just a reminder to everyone that over the past 2 months and over 200 PAs, he's hitting .300/.403/.489 with a 13.7% BB rate and 24.6% K rate. I honestly was surprised Piñango was the one promoted to high-A over Nwogu, especially considering experience.
  2. BA Hot Sheet (20 hottest prospects from the last week): https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/hot-sheet-baseballs-20-hottest-prospects-from-the-past-week-9721/
  3. Huh? Haven't seen that. They did some cap maneuvers with Jimmy Graham to extend most of his cap hit to 2022. That was needed just to get back under the cap apparently, as they didn't have enough "in season" buffer. But yea, to cut Foles AND Quinn, I don't think they actually could do it. But I've felt for a while they probably should cut Foles just for the roster spot, but they'd need to restructure someone (likely Quinn) to defer some cap to accommodate Foles dead cap acceleration. But maybe just hang on to him until the trade deadline... Never know. This seems to be the genesis, but again I haven't seen anything about them cutting those guys. I think one of the beat guys mentioned they were considering a Quinn restructure before they did Graham but that's all I've found. I believe that’s for next year. This is the Graham maneuver that sparked it all (the good years means there’s dead cap next season too but I’m no cap expert and I’m not learning the intricacies of the cap now):
  4. #2 is HR #1, possible game winner He and Christian Franklin had 3 hit nights, Preciado had a couple with a walk. Franklin may be in MB soon enough Johzan Oquendo’s been a little more hittable lately and gave up his first HR, but seems like a prospect. Wild guess is he throws hard Here is video of Triantos’ first pro home run:
  5. BA had him with plus speed in their preseason write-up, Pipeline has his running at 60 in the 20-80 scale while FG has it at 55 (both present and future).

  13. Huh, losing to that team in sissy blue, Ed O?
  14. I’m kind of anticipating Wicks will be around a 30 pitch/2 inning limit.
