  1. His pitches aren't as good as others prospects and his ceiling is lower than the pitchers I had ahead of him and he's repeating AA. The reason I have him higher than other posters is because I feel he deserves it after he's improved his changeup this season. CPatt, the reason I have Marmol higher than Nolasco is because he has a higher ceiling and better stuff. It's not his fault he's being rushed. Mhuber, it's Harvey (who's hitting kind of well lately) who has tied the MWL-lead in HRs at 15.
  2. that's a good score! get anything else? Vance got an Iowa team signed bat. I also bought a ceremonial first pitch and my friend bought lunch with Ribbee. lunch w/ the mascot sounds brutally awkward. It's all the more awkward when the mascot can't talk.
  3. According to the Herald Tribune they'll play only one game today, and a doubleheader on monday. Thanks!

Nothing mentioned on their web site yet.
  5. It's obviously Derrek's fault that he's not 6' tall.
  6. That high strike call on strike 2 didn't help. Apparently Grieve will PH for Murton.
  7. And yet, he's better at second than Hairston. Yay, '95 Wildcats! yep and I am better than basketball than you so I guess the Bulls should call me up. Because Rasin plays for the Bulls? I'm confused. No i just mean because one guy is better than another doesnt mean he should be playing there. Walker sucks at fielding he just happens to suck less than Hairston at 2b So who should be playing there?Neifi You want Neifi starting over Walker? Are you out of your mind? yep, I actually am just venting. he has to make that play. i want brian roberts actually I figured you were just venting. I don't think Walker is as bad defensively as some make it out. Argh, Jerry! :(
  8. And yet, he's better at second than Hairston. Yay, '95 Wildcats!
  9. Yay, 1995 Northwestern!! Argh, c'mon, Walker.
  10. Uhh...Len advertising Lollapalooza? Interesting.
  11. I think he's on par with Rich Hill Hill's not even the best Cubs pitching prospect. Nice, Walker! The Cubs better score in this situation (and more than once), with Lee and Ramirez up.
  12. Daytona: LHP JR Mathes Boise: LHP Jesus Yepez No clue in regards to WT's doubleheader.
  13. And he was the Pirates preseason #1 prospect.
  14. The fact that he's repeating the FSL is what's holding me back from ranking him in my Top 5. Also, apparently he's had his share of injury problems during his time with the Tigers. I'd love to think he can keep up his performance in AA and stay healthy. However, I'm still a bit wary of him. The reason I still rate him high is because while he's repeating the FSL, he's the same age as Dope and came from the same draft. I also like his BB/K numbers.
  15. I was at the Rose Bowl that year (on my birthday). Stupid Keyshawn Johnson. :x Zach Duke throws an 88-91 mph fastball and a fantastic curveball. His third pitch is a change, but it's only average. He's a control pitcher and great against lefties. Murton better be starting.
  16. Mine (I guess I like Moore a whole lot more than raw or Outshined): 1. Felix Pie 2. Sean Marshall 3. Brian Dopirak 4. Scott Moore 5. Ryan Harvey 6. Matt Murton 7. Rich Hill 8. Ronny Cedeño 9. Carlos Marmol 10. Billy Petrick 11. Sean Gallagher 12. Renyel Pinto 13. Ricky Nolasco 14. Eric Patterson 15. Brandon Sing I don't think I can rank Pawelek yet. YAY!
  17. They're down to 19 fans at the ballpark!
  18. Argh, we're in the 12th now after Nate Sevier blew the save. He threw a WP with 2 outs and a runner at third which tied the game at 6. DOPE SLAP! Two-run shot (following a Scott Moore line single) to DEAD CF, hitting the batter's eye above the 400-foot sign. 8-6 Daytona, D-Cubs still batting. Now O'Toole with a double. All this off of Eric Lohse, Kyle's younger bro. Bo counted the fans before the 12th inning started, there are 22 fans there.
  19. Robinson Chirinos hits a solo HR in the top of the 11th to make it 6-5 Daytona! That's the third Daytona HR, following Jake Fox and Scott Moore's. Apparently it's so quiet and there are so few fans at the ballpark now that fans in the front row looked up to Bo in the announcer's booth to see who was getting excited over the HR.
