  1. Don't listen to him/her. Your memories and life experience will remember being around everyone if we win, and you won't remember this 100$ or 200$ in 20 years. Hell you probably won't remember it by next year. I was thinking about getting the pocket picked - money isn't nearly the hassle that lost cc and ID are. But I can understand the other side of the go to Wrigleyville argument. You thought I shouldn't go because I might get my pocket picked (literally)?!
  2. Thanks. Anyone have any idea how early you'd need to get there? I called Schoolyard and they were anticipating a line by 4:30. ok horsefeathers it. not going to wrigleyville.
  3. I'm sure there will be some cover charge immediately around the stadium, but probably not what they were charging this past weekend. You could always go to sheffields and than just walk down the street if you want to get towards the stadium. You think sheffields would be any better?
  4. Thanks. Anyone have any idea how early you'd need to get there?
  5. Do you guys know what the deal is with the wrigley bars tonight? Cover charges still? On one hand, it's a road game...on the other, it's horsefeathering game 7
  6. i am so unbelievably nervous that there's some part of me that wishes i could not watch the game or something. like my body is physically wanting to reject watching the game.
  7. part of me really wants to be in wrigleyville today/tonight another part of me says horsefeathers those crowds, cover charges, lines, uber/train/whatever, and just watch in a bar in the burbs which will still be crazy fun and much easier i honestly can't decide
  8. i don't think i posted much, if at all, last night (if i did, i wouldn't remember) but holy horsefeathers guys what a horsefeathering game
  9. friend is trying to get me to meet him in wrigleyville around 2pm i really don't think that's a good idea
  10. woke up before my alarm too, but that usually happens when i got very drunk the night before
  11. The entire series has been identical for me. Pregame: "eh, if they lose it happens, I like their odds but baseball, etc" The moment the Cubs give up a hit or make an out: "come on you idiots I am DYING here" i'm basically on edge as soon as the game starts...then i relax at the first good play we have. then if we are losing i actually WANT to be dying.
  12. BUT BOY DO I SURE WISH WE HAD TANKED
  13. Before the season I thought the people who thought they'd miss the playoffs were nuts and figured low mid 40's 6ish seed. Now I'm thinking more like low 50's 2-3 seed.
  14. Well, not with that username you don't. What even possesses people to make posts like that? We all get these feelings (good and bad) but I have no idea why anyone thinks it's something worth communicating to anyone else other than to say "yeah, i'm nervous" mainly it frustrates me because he/she has close to a 50% chance of being right and then will be like I KNEW IT
  15. Wouldnt be an excited nervous feeling if we win, and a miserable feeling if we lose? Yeah, I meant that miserable nervous feeling. it's all miserable WHY IS THIS FUN WHY DO WE CHOOSE TO DO THIS
  16. Edwards only got one out the other night and there's been a day off in between. He'll be fine to pitch tonight. Think he meant game 7.
  17. With the wind out of the SW, does that mean it will be blowing straight out in Cleveland like it does at Wrigley? Not sure how that park is setup. eh. i feel like i never hear that type of thing referenced with other parks. design has probably something to do with it. closest thing i can think of is people talking about dodger stadium with the marine layer blah blah blah.
